CALL FOR NOMINATIONS AS THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
OF THE NORTH AMERICAN REGIONAL SCIENCE COUNCIL

The North American Regional Science Council (NARSC) is seeking nominations for the position of Executive Director.
According to Article V, Section D of the NARSC constitution, the Executive Director shall discharge the duties normally associated with the offices of Secretary and Treasurer of a similar organization and shall be responsible for: coordinating the Annual Meetings, serve as treasurer and secretary of the Council, work with Councilors to coordinate with the Chair and President the Council's business meetings, and act as liaison between NARSC and RSAI, WRSA, SRSA, MCRSA, and CRSA. While the NARSC constitution does not define the term of service, the Council is asking the selected nominee to serve in this capacity for a minimum of 5 years.

Members can submit nominations of themselves or others to NARSC Chair Jason Brown at Jason.Brown@kc.frb.org by May 1, 2021. Any NARSC members who wish to be nominated as a candidate for the Executive Director should send the following items:

A brief statement outlining the reasons for your interest in becoming the next Executive Director of NARSC, vision for NARSC, your strategy in managing the day-to-day operations of the Association, and a two-page CV.
After May 1, the NARSC Council will review the nominations and select the next Executive Director.
An annual travel fund is available to support this position. Please direct any questions you have about this announcement to either Jason Brown or Steve Deller, NARSC President.
