CARB: Transportation and Travel Behavior Specialist/ARE


The Transportation Analysis section (TAS) within the California Air Resources Board (CARB) seeks highly motivated individuals to support the development and implementation of the State's transportation and housing policies that advance climate and air quality goals. The incumbent will independently analyze transportation, land use, housing, and economic data to support sustainable policies that can transition California to an efficient, carbon-free transportation system and do so in an equitable way. In addition, the incumbent will also enhance CARB's evaluation and monitoring of regional and local land use development and transportation strategies related to the implementation of California's Senate Bill (SB) 375 and SB 150 programs. Excellent analytical, written, verbal communication, and interpersonal relationship skills are essential to be successful in this position.
