We are currently seeking an entry level Travel Demand Modeler to support our national Transportation Planning Consulting Practice based out of our Atlanta, GA or Miami, FL offices and work with our dynamic team on a vast list of multimodal projects.
The entry level Travel Demand Modeler will work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment and must have excellent communication, strong data and analytical skills, and documentation skills. He or she will participate in the collection and analysis of data, technical analysis of transportation planning projects of varying size and scope, development of recommendations, and report and presentation development. The person will provide support to our clients on the state, regional, and local levels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university
- Master’s Degree Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university preferred
- PE and/or AICP Certification preferred or on track to attain
- 1-3 years’ experience performing transportation planning/engineering activities
- Proficiency with ArcGIS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Business acumen and facilitation skills working with a broad set of teams and clients
Strong teamwork and project organization skills working on projects and with staff.
