Evacuation plans with a modelling component

Hello all, I'm seeking some links to evacuation plans, preferably for
smaller communities, that have a traffic modelling component. Can anyone
point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,

Hello mycokefyl,

I created a evacuation plan recently (2019/2018) and can send you my paper from when I was working at an MPO.  We used our travel demand model to create the simulation of an evacuation for a region.  We then handed this off as a subarea network + tripgen to the local university.  Here is the paper that explains our methodology.

This is the link for the full study from the University https://spark.siue.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1086&context=siue_fac -

EDIT: THIS IS THE WRONG UNIVERSITY STUDY, I can not find the full study (what the university did with our subarea network - I will try and contact the person who was in charge at the time).  However, first attachment is correct.

Best,

Hello Paul, Kittelson did some evacuation projects in Florida especially
related to Hurricane Evacuation. You can find some information below:

Maureen Paz de Araujo of Wilson & Co. in Colorado Springs and I prepared a wildfire evacuation traffic model and plan for the Colorado Springs MPO (Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments) which was then tested by the Waldo Canyon Fire (2012). Attached is the TRB paper; more info is available.
