Greetings All,

The Freight Analysis Framework (FAF), produced through a partnership between the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), integrates data from a variety of sources to create a comprehensive resource of long distance, national freight movement data across all modes of transportation. The FAF version 4 (FAF4) database has two major components:

1. Origin- Destination freight flow tables with estimates for tonnage and value by commodity type and transportation mode for base year 2012 and forecasts through 2045.

2. Estimated long-haul truck flows on nation's highway network in base year 2012 and in forecast year 2045.
FAF4 estimates of long-haul truck flows on nation's highway network and tabular Origin- Destination freight flow data is available for download at www.ops.fhwa.dot.gov/freight/freight_analysis/faf/index.htm .
