Opening: Freight Modeler / Econometrician GS 12/13/14
The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) is seeking a freight modeler with extensive knowledge in econometric or statistical modeling methods. At BTS, you will play a major role in modeling goods movement and freight transportation flows throughout the United States. The successful candidate will help produce the Freight Analysis Framework (FAF) dataset https://www.bts.gov/faf, which is used in virtually every freight travel demand model and in most freight policy studies in the U.S. Join us as we modernize the FAF, leveraging ever-richer data and advanced methodologies to better serve our data users.
