This part-time position is for a senior modeling advisor, to assist MTC/ABAG Planning staff within the Forecasting, Modeling & Surveys (FMS) team with work plan items as assigned. The goal of this position is to bring the wealth and depth of experience of someone who has worked on challenging problems in the modeling and forecasting space over a long period to inform and advise FMS staff on technical topics. This position would be ideal for someone who would like to mentor agency staff, work to improve the San Francisco Bay Area, conduct modeling-related research, and contribute to modeling tools that will be heavily used in practice.
