The Travel Behavior Lab at the FIU invites applications for a Postdoc Research Associate position in the area of travel demand modeling and data analytics. Specific research projects include investigation of e-commerce enabled freight demand, evaluation of the propensity toward telecommuting, travel demand and behavior analysis in the era of ACES, user perceptions, attitudes and adaptation toward demand management strategies, disruptive technologies, and emerging trends and mobility options, freight safety and mobility analysis, etc. The candidate is expected to support the research team, lead and execute research tasks, develop research proposals, and produce reports and publications. The position is available immediately and opens until filled.

Eligibility - methodological skills and research experience in behavior analysis, econometric modeling, transportation psychology, experiment design, and data analytics; experience with GIS and machine learning techniques is a plus; holding a PhD degree from transportation engineering, civil engineering, or a closely related field.
