Regional Science Call for Abstracts: 9/15/20 deadline for virtual conference (just $70 & $35 reg fees!)

Dear Colleagues:

Due to Covid-19, the North American Meetings of the Regional Science Association International that were scheduled to be held in San Diego, California will now be a virtual conference, November 9 to 13.

Existing Submissions: If you submitted an abstract for the original conference you should have received an acceptance email, inviting you to participate in the virtual conference. If you wish to participate in the virtual conference, please Log In to the User Area on the NARSC website (www.nasrc.org), earmark your abstract, and pay the registration fee. If you submitted an abstract and did not receive an acceptance email, please contact NARSC Executive Director, Neil Reid at neil.reid@utoledo.edu. The registration fee is $35 for students and $70 for non-students. Please earmark your paper and pay the registration fee no later than September 15 – this guarantees that your paper will be placed on the program.

New Submissions
If you did not submit an abstract but would like to participate in the virtual NARSC conference, we have reopened the abstract submission portal. We will keep this open until September 15. More details about the registration process can be found here: http://www.narsc.org/newsite/conference/conference-registration/ . After you have submitted your abstract, please earmark it and pay the registration fee as soon as possible (no later than September 15 – this guarantees that your paper will be placed on the program). Earmarking can be done in the User Area once registration fees have been paid. An author can earmark two (2) papers at most. Beyond, two papers, the author should ask a co-author to earmark abstracts. If your abstract is not accepted for the conference, you will be notified no later than September 17, and a full refund will be processed.

If you have any questions regarding the conference, please contact NARSC Executive Director, Neil Reid at neil.reid@utoledo.edu.
Thanks so much, & hope to see you at this special regional science event!
Kara
