RFP for Regional Traffic Data Collection Progeam

RFP - Regional Traffic Data Collection Program

In order for the regional, state and federal air quality experts to monitor traffic related pollutants and conformance with air quality standards as well as for supporting the update of regional travel demand model, the Capital Region Planning Commission(CRPC) requests proposals from qualified professional firms or individuals, either singly or through a joint venture with others, to collect all required traffic count and vehicle classification data for selected roadway segments and intersections within the Capital Region Metropolitan Area. Intersection turning movement counts and bicycle counts shall be optional service and may or may not be included in the contract. CRPC anticipates beginning this work immediately upon selection of a firm. The duration of the contract is estimated to be two years and eight months, from the day when notice to proceed to begin the work is awarded in September 2019 to end of April 2022. Total compensation for this project is $255,000.

CRPC will not pay for the development or submission of any proposals in response to this RFP.  Furthermore, CRPC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
