WSP is currently initiating a search for a Traffic Planning Project Manager to support our statewide Texas Traffic and Planning Teams in the AustinDallasHouston, and San Antonio offices.

Duties And Responsibilities

·        Traffic Practice Building and Business Development related to Traffic Operations and Planning

·        Project Management and Delivery of Traffic Operations and Planning projects

·        Development and technical oversight of traffic technical staff

·        Coordination with the Texas Traffic Team and other engineering disciplines

Minimum Qualifications

·        Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in traffic engineering design and operations

·        Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering

·        Professional Engineering license in Texas or ability to obtain within 3 months

·        Fundamentally sound in the principals of traffic planning and operations

·        Project Management experience

·        Business Development experience

·        Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

·        Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Job Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

·        A Master’s Degree in Transportation

·        Previous experience with TxDOT and other local Texas Municipalities including successful marketing

·        Knowledge of transportation planning and traffic analysis tools
