Traffic Survey Guidelines (Australia)?

Hi

I know we have a number of Australian list subscribers. Do you know of any Australian guidelines (from government, professional bodies etc.) for undertaking traffic surveys - eg. recommended or required duration for licence plate surveys? I'm interested in anything, but particularly relating to New South Wales.

Others - if you know of guidelines from elsewhere (the US?) which talk to this specific issue I'd also be interested.

Many thanks,

Rob
